Rentgrata will be featured on your community’s website giving your prospects the opportunity to communicate with your residents and help you turn those leads into leases. After a prospect chats with a resident and then moves in, the prospect may be eligible to earn a move-in bonus, and the current resident(s) that they spoke to can earn a Rentgrata reward.
To use Rentgrata:
- Join the Rentgrata kickoff call, which typically takes place after Rentgrata Messenger is installed on your property's website.
- Invite all current residents of the community that are in good standing to join Rentgrata. Rentgrata recommends that you do not invite residents with non-renewal, do not accept payment, eviction, or multiple lease violation statuses. Your Client Success rep will take care of initiating your first invite. For more information about how to invite current residents, see "How do I invite residents to sign up for Rentgrata? ".
- Rentgrata will provide leads to your community via the Lead email address that we have on file, or through integrations with your community's CRM system. The Leads provided by Rentgrata will be automatically updated by our integration with Yardi, RealPage or Entrata. If your community is not using one of these, or has opted out of giving Rentgrata access, leads will need to be updated manually on your dashboard. For more about leads and integrations, see "How do I update open leads? Do I need to do this manually?".
- After a lead provided by Rentgrata moves into the community, the onsite team must pay out the rewards to the current residents. Rentgrata does not pay out move-in bonuses or Rentgrata rewards unless your community has specifically contracted us to do so. Reward information for the prospective renter (who is now a resident), and the current resident(s) that provided them with feedback can be found on the property's Rewards tab, or by clicking on a lead card. For more information about rewards, see "How are rewards paid out? Who takes care of the reward payments?"
- After a reward is paid out, the reward should be "Marked as Rewarded" in Rentgrata Manager. Marking a reward as "rewarded" also allows the onsite team to prompt the resident to leave a review. For more information about marking a reward as "rewarded" and to request that residents leave the community a review, see: "How do I prompt a review on Google, Yelp, or Facebook from a resident?"
