What is the Prospects tab? Why are some prospects locked? How do I unlock them?

Prospects may appear with truncated name and contact information on the property's Unlock Prospects tab if they had a conversation with a resident on Rentgrata, but did not submit their guest card to the property through Rentgrata. Please note that even though the prospect's name and contact information is truncated in Rentgrata Manager, you will still be able to see the prospect’s first name and partial contact information (either their email address or phone number) on the property's Unlocked Prospect tab. 

To "unlock" prospects so that their full name and contact information is displayed and so that the prospect appears on the property's Leads tab, use one of the following methods:

  1. Search for the prospect that you're looking for in the property's CRM system to see if the locked prospect submitted their information to the property through a different channel. If you are able to find that individual with the contact information we partially show, you’ll take the full phone number or email address from your CRM, and enter it into the Find Prospects box at the top of the Rentgrata Manager dashboard page. As you click the search button, the prospect will be unlocked and show up in the Open Leads column for you to update from there. You can also enter the prospect's full email address or phone number on the prospect's guest card section in Rentgrata Manager.
  2. If a prospect mentions that they spoke to someone on Rentgrata, ask them to "contact the property using Rentgrata", or ask them for the email address or phone number associated with their Rentgrata account. The onsite team can then take the prospect's email address or phone number and enter it into the Find Prospects box in Rentgrata Manager, which will automatically unlock the prospect's contact information and will move them to the Leads tab. 
  3. The onsite team can ask the prospect to open the reward voucher email that Rentgrata has sent them, and to click on the “Redeem Voucher and Contact Property” button.
